He brought over some dessert, making us feel special. We asked for dessert, which the server said not sure if there's any left (on a Saturday night?). We had to find the server to adjust the check. We ended our meal close to 8:45 pm (we arrived at 6:30), and got the check, which we got overcharged 3 bowls of rice. We finally got the dish, but since we were full, we really didn't enjoy it. We were practically done with dinner when we asked our server.
Next came the Peking Duck (beautiful dish, by the way) and then the Seafood hot pot. Finally we asked a bus boy for rice, and he sent a different waiter to talk to us. Then the noodles came out, still no rice. We sent it back.Ībout 10 minutes later the Honey Shrimp came, and we asked for rice. Our dish is supposed to have strips of beef, not minced meat. My mom thought the meat was minced and was about to eat it, when I looked at an old photo of our food from last year and said "That's not the right dish!". He came back in minutes with green beans. Whaaa? My dad said bring out any dish, we're hungry. The waiter said he's waiting on the Duck, as he wanted to present us with the best dish first. Our waiter spoke excellent English and Chinese, so I thought we would be getting great service, as there wouldn't be any mis-communication, right? Well.Ĥ5 minutes had passed, and my dad asked the waiter where the food was. After waiting 15 minutes, we were moved to the back room, in a more quiet location. I begged her to move us, as the table location was in a heavily congested area, with lots of foot traffic. We came here on (the Saturday after) Chinese New Years at 6:45, and the hostess tried to seat us near the same table we had last year. Last Chinese New Year 2014 we experienced bad service, and I was praying we wouldn't repeat a same episode. Otherwise, I would have gladly gone elsewhere.
